The Missed Call

When selecting leaders, or replacing one,
or filling a role, there is a unique set of qualification that must be met. And it is this. I’m choosing on the basis
of faithfulness and loyalty. I’m choosing
on the basis of whether or not that person has been there – whether they have
been consistent, exhibiting a willing spirit and attentiveness to the needs of our
calling. I am not choosing on the basis of talent, ability, skill, education,
or how well connected that person is.
The Bible highlights the best principles that should guide us when
making selections for any role in ministry or a corporate position (read Acts 1:21-22).
Faithfulness is the key. A mighty man or woman who is faithful to the calling
that God has called you too – whatever that may be. These individuals are
willing to help in any shape, way or form to support, to fulfill and meet the
needs of the mission whether paid or unpaid. Regardless if the need is
something like answering a simple question
or resolving a complex problem. They are in it for the mission of the ministry and
not for themselves.
God has a calling on my life. Felicia’s life. That is independent and dependent upon each other.
And those who are called to this ministry WILL BE CALLED BY GOD. They will have
the heart of God according to the ways He has willed in Felicia’s heart as well
as mine.
God is not only the rewarder of our faithfulness according to His heart’s
desire. But, He is the Revealer of a person’s secret heart – a man’s innermost thought – yes, God will reveal. For God will not allow anyone to hinder what He
has pulled out of the grave, resurrected, called back to life in order to honor
His purpose here on the earth. For no man, no unseen thing is more powerful than
God’s planned victories.
So, when God calls one up to be a part of someone’s calling – mission,
in order to fulfill the one who has been called up to meet another’s purpose;
and yet that someone refuses to celebrate the small victories together as ONE
BODY, God must respond to the dysfunction of a lack of unity toward HIS GRAND PURPOSE.
For that one has rooted in his heart a spirit of suspension. A heart that not
only won’t receive what God is doing but also a spirit of pride that seeks only
to gain what benefits himself and not sacrifice
at the altar that which belongs to God. For
God has revealed it!
But God is gracious. He will wait until the rise of the morning sun for
one to chastise his own behavior and correct the rottenness that he has allowed
to take root. To remove the seed that has contaminated his spirit. Causing one
to collide into a season of barrenness if one refuses
to rip out the seed that is taking root within.
If one listens to the counsel of the LORD, the LORD will lead His
leaders to extend mercy and grace and a forgiveness that will overshadow your sin so that a blessing of
abundance will cover you and overflow.
But, you have chosen to not heed the counsel of correction – God’s
mercy and grace to you. So God has delayed for 6 seasons, allowing a time of
grace to pardon you and extend itself. But you still would not listen. You
refuse to yield to those God has set before you. You refused and rejected in
your heart the Light that shines upon those God has set before you. So, God has
chosen to cover the sun. Refusing to allow it to give off its Light, causing an eclipse
that will cast your hopes and dreams into
the darkness for 6 seasons – hoping one day you will see the errors of your
ways AND REPENT.
For it is not about your talent, skill, ability, anointing or whatever God
has called you to do. It is about your heart and God’s heart, which you are
conflicted toward – that is the heart of God and what God is doing and has
called to the front lines of this earthy battle. Until you see it is not about
man’s purpose, nor yours, BUT GOD’S; and those He called to the high towers,
and those He called to be connected to the high towers, your eclipse will never
dim.
INTERPRETATION
Shortly after posting the above to my Facebook page, I received a text message asking for clarity - its meaning. After texting its meaning as God poured it into my spirit to this individual, I felt led to share its meaning here. (See text message below).
